Storage Location Selection

Dedicated warehouse: Establish a pesticide-specific storage facility separate from food, feed, seeds, and daily supplies to prevent contamination and accidents.

Dry and ventilated:

Maintain humidity below 75% to prevent moisture damage

Ensure proper ventilation to reduce toxic gas accumulation and prevent poisoning/explosion risks

Temperature control:

Store at 5-35°C

Low temperatures may cause crystallization/precipitation

High temperatures may accelerate decomposition/volatilization or cause combustion

Fire safety:

Store away from heat sources (boiler rooms, electrical rooms)

Prohibit open flames nearby

Equip with firefighting equipment

Categorized Storage

By pesticide type: Separate insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, and plant growth regulators

By toxicity level:

Highly toxic pesticides: Isolated storage with warning signs, dual-lock system

Moderate/low toxicity: Properly categorized

By formulation:

Emulsifiable concentrates: Prevent leakage

Wettable powders: Moisture-proof

Different formulations require specific storage conditions

Packaging and Labeling

Intact packaging:

Maintain original containers

Replace damaged/leaking packages immediately
